Re: Fury
Dont take everything to heart Grays. Acting very left wing about it all.

Re: Fury
Dont think there’s really much doubt that Fury is the superior boxer is there?

Wilder is all power

Joshua is some combination of the 2, think thats what makes it interesting with clashes of styles and hopefully we’ll get to see who actually comes out on top.

Re: Fury
Fuck knows tbf, why do people get upset over multi millionaires knocking a ball about? Just sport at the end of the day ain’t it, people debate it. Just boring listening to ill educated views on HW boxing every time there’s a big fight.

Re: Fury
why would you care if someone said that, not that it makes any sense anyway? unless you're related to him, or his bird, why are you getting offended for a bloke worth over £50m? of course it's an achievement selling out massive stadiums

Grays 6:59 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
Hate is a strong, but loads of bitter digs over what Joshua has achieved, like selling out Wembley & Cardiff not being an achievement etc...

Re: Fury
Whose `hating` Joshua?? Only things I seen written on here is having a pop at Fury at his oafish pikey behaviour?? I hope AJ proves the world wrong and shows he's got some Alberts... but... I still think that Fury is the better boxer... no hate just an opinion

TheBoleynBoy 6:31 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
Agree with Grays there. You see a lot of jealousy in people over someone’s success. Normally the people jealous were fully supportive on that persons way up but as soon as they get there, they revert to hating on them.

You see that mentality in so many things, not just sports.

Grays 5:46 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
Fact is bods like you are bitter over Joshua and Hearn's perceived successes, sums up so many English bods mentality when it comes to sport.

Suppose you prefer Frank Warren and his ilk, renowned for not paying boxers for putting it all on the line?

'was doing bits'

My input ended after reading that.

"He's not the best in the division and Fury is better. That is just my opinion and of course many disagree. Slightly less agree since the Ruiz defeat though! let's see. Time will tell."

That may well be, but while Fury was on the packet for two years Joshua was doing bits garnering support, belts & defenses. Nothing to do with being on Hearn's gravy train, whatever that means.

Agree and we have all taken the piss out of him for going on about it since. Says it all.

Re: Fury
Carl froch made a huge deal out of his record breaking attendance for years until Joshua beat it on a regular basis

Re: Fury
ok so many people bought into hearns gravy train. Not an achievement of Joshua himself imo. Slowly but surely his flaws are being found out.

He's not the best in the division and Fury is better. That is just my opinion and of course many disagree. Slightly less agree since the Ruiz defeat though! let's see. Time will tell.

Re: Fury
Selling your stadium out is not an achievement.

It is, whether you rate him as a boxer or not he's transcended the sport with regards to attracting support. Selling out Wembley and Cardiff as a boxer is a rarity.

dealcanvey 5:23 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
Selling your stadium out is not an achievement. Why do you post on here? You must be an arsenal fan.

Grays 5:20 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
He's also fought, or signed to fight, 6 of the top 10 HW's out there. Very favourable that compared to Wilder and Fury and some going considering he's ducking the big fights supposedly.

TheBoleynBoy 5:19 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
Dean,

He now holds the same amount of titles as Fury. He also actually defended his 4 titles 6 times. Didn’t win them and get bang on the Charlie.

Fury real champion my arse. Yes he won them fair and square no doubt about that but didn’t even defend them once. Even if he did defend them and lost in his first defence that’s more of a champion than just winning them.

Grays 5:18 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
Undoubtedly Joshua has achieved more, Olympic medalist and multiple defenses of various belts in front of sold out stadiums.

dealcanvey 5:14 Mon Jun 17
Re: Fury
Grays 5:09 Mon Jun 17

But has Joshua achieved more though? Think we all know what the answer is.

Considering he now holds 0 titles. He's got a very long way to go to emulating Furys achievement.

''We can also add to that the fact that Fury was a unified champion and held all 4 titles."

Didn't fancy defending them titles though did he!

Re: Fury
I've not slagged off joshua at all, I like him and he's very honest about himself, and the first to criticise a performance but quoting the olympic title isn't the best one to bring up considering he was outboxed by a middle aged Italian copper, and wouldn't have been awarded the win anywhere but london. I like joshua and hope he comes back soon, preferably against wilder
